In my E-Comm class we recently used photo shop to do some fun projects. The picture on the left was project one and we had to recolor the butterfly and make it look like it was flying. I used the clone stamp tool to make the wings look as if they were flapping and I used the magic wand tool to recolor the wings. This was my first time using the clone stamp tool so it took some time getting used to but after trying it out a few times it worked out pretty well. I think I did a good job choosing the color. But they could still use some work. Next time it will probably be easier because now I have more experience.
This was project two and this one was actually pretty easy. I used the magic eraser tool and the text tool. I magically erased all the white on the compass layer and then I used the text tool to type "ONW" then I changed the opacity to 45% or something like that. It was hard to get the text to the right size. and it always looked cheesy so I had to keep trying until I got it right. I think i did well with the magic eraser tool because the floating compass looks good. The background could use some work but its still pretty good. Next time I will probably change the background so it looks more alive.
This is project three and the tools that I see were called text mask and the gradient tool. I cropped out the top half of the sky and then I used the text mask to make the letters see through and then I used the gradient tool to make the blue and black part. It was hard figuring out the text mask tool but i eventually got it when i tried it again and again. I did well with the gradient but my text could use some work. Next time i will work some more one the text.
This is project four and it was a lot of fun to make. I used the magnetic lasso tool, the clone stamp tool, opacity and the eraser tool. I used the magnetic tool to crop the raven in the sky. then I used the clone stamp to eraser the light poles. Then I changed the opacity of the stairs and admin office so they would fit in with the sky. It was hard to use the magnetic tool because it kept veering off from the raven but I kept trying and eventually got it. I think i did really good overall because it looks awesome. But you can tell that the poles were photo shopped out. Next time will work on my clone tool.
